Summer Interns ’22

We pride ourselves in always putting action behind our words, and this year we are once again showing our commitment to post-secondary educational opportunities with 3 summer interns!

Aiden Petersen is excited to work closely with our diverse team. “I'm looking forward to using modern technologies in development and working with a friendly close knit team.” Our developers act as mentors for our interns and are open to answer questions and guide the students through challenges they may face. Our interns also join in our monthly #teamtalks and game nights and are truly part of our Bio::Neos family!

Nathan Daniels noted that by the end of the summer he’ll be able to “work effectively in a business environment, as well as be a more advanced user of git, and docker.” We have our interns work on substantive projects alongside our developers to give them the best chance to learn from our team all summer.

This year we are also committed to helping our interns grow as professionals. We’ll be holding resume and cover letter workshops to empower the students along their professional journeys. We want to pour into our interns and set them up for success even after they have completed their internships.

This is also a great chance for our interns to network and Yilin Zhu is happy he’ll get to brag about the fact that he knows people outside of his math department. Yilin, Aiden, and Nathan will have the chance to meet many new people this summer and make genuine connections with professionals in the software field. We look forward to spending the summer with the students and helping them learn and grow!
